Shipping & Delivery Policy

At GiftsnBoxes Nigeria, we understand that delivery is not just a logistics process. It is the final step in making someone feel truly special. We take every delivery seriously and work hard to make sure your gift arrives on time, in perfect condition, and with the care it deserves.

1. Where We Deliver

  • Abuja (FCT): same day delivery to homes, offices and hospitals across Abuja for orders placed by 5pm
  • Lagos: doorstep delivery in 2 to 5 working days, or airport pickup the same or next day
  • Other states in Nigeria: airport pickup the same or next day
  • We do not currently deliver outside Nigeria. Customers abroad are very welcome to order for someone in Nigeria and pay by card.

Cakes, fresh flowers and other perishable items are delivered within Abuja only, so they arrive fresh and in perfect condition. If an order for delivery outside Abuja includes perishable items, we will contact you to suggest a suitable alternative or refund those items.

2. Same Day Delivery in Abuja

Order by 5pm and choose today as your delivery date, and we will deliver the same day. Orders placed after 5pm are delivered the next day, or on any later date you choose. You can also pick a preferred delivery time slot in your bag.

Same day delivery is subject to availability. During busy seasons such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Eid, Christmas and the end of the year, we recommend ordering 24 to 48 hours in advance to secure your preferred date and time.

3. Abuja Delivery Fees

The delivery fee depends on the area and is shown in your bag before you pay. Cakes travel by car to keep them safe, so orders that include a cake use the car fee.

4. Delivery Outside Abuja

For deliveries outside Abuja, we work with trusted logistics partners.

  • Lagos doorstep delivery: ₦15,000, delivered in 2 to 5 working days
  • Airport pickup (Lagos and other states): ₦40,000. We send your gift by air the same or next day, and the recipient collects it at the airport
  • Remote or rural locations may take longer
  • We will send you a tracking update once your order has been dispatched

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including public holidays, bad weather or logistics delays. We will always let you know about any significant delay as soon as we become aware of it.

5. Corporate and Bulk Orders

For corporate and bulk orders, including deliveries to several addresses, delivery fees and timelines are agreed separately. Please contact us for a quote.

6. Delivery Details

When placing your order, please provide:

  • The recipient's full name
  • A complete and accurate delivery address, including the nearest landmark if possible
  • A valid phone number for the recipient or a contact person at the delivery address

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful because the recipient is unavailable or the address is incorrect, we will contact you to arrange a redelivery. An additional delivery fee may apply.

7. Surprise Deliveries

We are happy to handle surprise deliveries. If you do not want the recipient to know a gift is coming, just let us know when you order. Our delivery team will be discreet and coordinate the timing with you. We recommend giving us an alternative contact number in case we cannot reach the recipient.

8. Delivery Updates

Once your order is out for delivery, we will send you a WhatsApp message to let you know it is on the way. For same day Abuja deliveries, we will also confirm once the gift has been delivered. If you have any questions while your order is on its way, simply reply to our WhatsApp message.

9. Damaged or Missing Items

We take great care in packaging every order. If your gift arrives damaged or an item is missing, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos. Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.
